“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

Association for Children Assistance (ACA)

Founded in 2006 by Pastor Deo Gashagaza and his wife, Christine, the Association for Children’s Assistance (formerly SCYM) strives to rebuild Rwanda by supporting, inspiring, and teaching Rwanda’s youngest generations. We work to see them learn about their role in their nation’s – and their world’s – future. The program now serves 85 children and youth living in extreme poverty on the streets of Rwanda’s capital city of Kigali. The Association for Children Assistance strives to meet practical, mental, spiritual, and emotional needs. We believe that all of these life dimensions are intertwined and vital to the well-being of an individual. We also believe that the well-being of Rwanda’s youngest population shapes the future of this post-genocidal nation in a powerful way.

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…” James 1:27

Pastor Deo and his team desire to provide 3 meals a day to these and other children. As well, they are pursuing ways to clothe, shelter, and educate the children. But they can’t do it alone. Even a small gift will make a large difference in the lives of one or more children.

Gifts will be used as most needed.  If you wish to specify how gifts are used such as: meals ($6 provides meals 3 days a week for one child), health insurance for the children ($10 per child per year), primary and secondary school sponsorships ($420 per child), you may do so during the checkout process when you click the link below.
