Greetings from warm South Africa!
God has been opening many doors for Gerrit to minister in South Africa over the past few months. Gerrit spoke at the YWAM Africa leaders’ meeting this past week and next week he is participating in a session with indigenous leaders doing the ministry of reconciliation in Cape Town. We are feeling blessed by the opportunities to, once again, share God’s word of reconciliation in South Africa.

On 19 October Gerrit leaves for Rwanda where he will meet up with Thabo for Project Ubumwe: a reconciliation ministry that will see genocide perpetrators asking forgiveness of victim families for the first time. Please take five minutes to read the document here and learn about Thabo’s film. It will be a tremendous reconciliation tool in the United States and post-conflict nations.

Project Ubumwe (with the blessing of the Rwanda government) and the documentary film are the culmination of years of work and fellowship in Rwanda. Please pray with us and consider being partners on this project.  We need your prayers for wisdom, covering, and provision as this is a big project that will have a massive impact in Rwanda.

If you would like to partner with us financially, you may send donations via Paypal or via check by going directly to the DONATE page at The WordFAN.

And just a reminder, you can view the information on Thabo’s film by clicking here. Enjoy these beautiful pictures of people who will be directly affected (and are already) by this project, your gifts, and your prayers.

Thank you for your prayers and gifts!

Gerrit and Celeste Wolfaardt
