On July 20th I will be leaving for Rwanda via South Africa.  I was invited by a Bishop of the Anglican Church to join him in ministering in the prisons to those who have been jailed for atrocities committed during the Genocide 15 years ago.  You may remember that about 1 million people were killed in a span of 100 days.

Needless to say, the wounds of the past are still open and sometimes festering although remarkable stories of reconciliation has come out of Rwanda.  The country is still in the process of healing.

I have been asked to bring the testimony of my own journey out of hatred to those who are in prison and to share with them the path of repentance and reconciliation that I entered upon by the grace of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.  There may even be an opportunity to show the movie Final Solution or the documentary From One Blood based upon the transformation Jesus brought into my life.

I am very excited about this opportunity and believe that God has some divine appointments for me in Rwanda.  Please pray for Bishop Geoffrey Rwubusisi & myself as we enter the prisons, that the doors will be wide open to the Good News of Jesus and the healing that He brings to those who are still in darkness.  I will be speaking to some ‘higher ups’ like a former Governor, judges, lawyers, etc., because of my own background in law.  What an incredible opportunity God has placed before me!

I do ask for God’s guidance, his wisdom, insight, the anointing of the Holy Spirit to speak the words that God our Father has on His heart for these prisoners.  I pray that they will come to repentance and into the Kingdom of God through the blood of Christ, spilled on their behalf.  May they see Jesus in my testimony & teaching and the power that He has to change their lives for His glory. “…They overcame him(the devil) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…” Rev. 12:11.
I will also be teaching in churches and I pray that those who still harbor hatred in their own hearts because their family members were killed or maimed or their homes destroyed, may also receive the grace of Christ in their lives so that God may be glorified in them. Please pray with me and may  God bless you abundantly.
